1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after receiving the advance payment and confirmation from Makam Holiday Home via WhatsApp, email, or booking platforms.


2. Cancellation by Guest

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the check-in time:
    100% refund of the advance amount will be provided.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of check-in:
    ❌ No refund will be applicable.

  • No-show or early check-out:
    ❌ No refund will be provided.

All cancellation requests must be communicated through WhatsApp or email.


3. Cancellation by Makam Holiday Home

In rare situations where Makam Holiday Home is unable to honor a confirmed booking due to unforeseen circumstances (such as maintenance issues, safety concerns, or natural events), guests will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • An option to reschedule the stay, subject to availability.


4. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment.

  • Processing time may take 7–10 working days, depending on the bank or payment gateway.

  • Transaction or bank charges, if any, may be deducted.


5. Third-Party Bookings

For bookings made through platforms like Airbnb or Booking.com, the cancellation and refund policies of the respective platform will apply.


6. Policy Updates

Makam Holiday Home reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page.
